Why choose Nova Health · from belief to system

Our promises are backed by a system.

Anyone can state a vision. This page explains how Nova Health turns "better home physiotherapy" into a system you can see, from selecting staff, matching and record keeping to the quarterly review of goals.

Six core strengths

Good treatment comes from a system.

Each of the six core strengths, from choosing which therapist visits to how goals are reviewed each quarter, is written into the system and does not depend on individual staff.

01

Matched specialty

The right person for the condition

  • Each case is led by a therapist with a Hong Kong Polytechnic University background or by a nurse manager
  • Therapists with the relevant specialty background are matched to the condition
02

How we choose staff

Able to connect with older adults

  • Technical skill is the entry ticket. The first standard is being able to connect with older adults and encourage them
  • Staff who slow down and listen, so that the older adult finishes a session with a smile
03

Record system

Progress at a glance

  • Every session records the training content, repetitions and vital signs
  • Monthly records and quarterly chart reports are generated automatically
04

Goal-oriented

Measured by indicators, not impressions

  • Three long-term goals (3 months) are set when the case opens
  • A quarterly review adjusts the difficulty according to progress, keeping it "just right"
05

Personalised plan

One-to-one design

  • A one-to-one rehabilitation plan, not a standard package
  • Tailored to the condition, daily habits and home environment
06

Innovation and technology

Technology supports people and does not replace them

  • An in-house system keeps case data in one place and updates it immediately
  • Remote video consultations and smart equipment rental make home training more efficient

Physiotherapy strength · the figures

Physiotherapy is Nova Health's home ground.

The company was founded by a physiotherapist and its case managers are physiotherapists. Physiotherapy is the main business and not an add-on service. The figures below show this:

Progress you can see

Transparent record system

Vague goals are one of the main reasons older adults give up rehabilitation. Progress therefore has to be visible. A chart-based report is generated every month, and family members, doctors and therapists see the same information.

Why tracking with data helps

A chart-based report is generated automatically every month, so strength, balance and daily activity ability can be seen at a glance. Family members can follow the recovery at any time, and doctors can use the data to adjust treatment, so that everyone works together.

Why goals are needed

Clear rehabilitation goals give a direction and build the patient's motivation and confidence. Measurable goals make progress visible, and every goal reached recognises the effort made and encourages further improvement.

Where Nova Health is strong

We have a mature, systematic recording process, and our professional report format meets medical standards. Regular updates keep the data current, and a transparent process builds trust between patients and clinicians.

From the first enquiry to ongoing follow-up

Service flow

From the first enquiry to the quarterly review, the flow is fixed. Steps 4 to 6 repeat every quarter, so the goals always stay close to the older adult's current ability, and this is how the challenge is kept just right.

  1. 1

    Enquiry

Call or WhatsApp us. A case manager learns about the needs, the condition and the home environment, and gives initial advice.

  2. 2

    Nurse / physiotherapist intake

A professional therapist visits the home for a full assessment, including physical condition, mobility, cognitive function and a home safety check.

  3. 3

Set up / update the plan

From the assessment, a personalised rehabilitation plan is drawn up with three long-term goals (three months), and the most suitable professional is matched.

  4. 4

    Service

The professional team visits regularly to provide physiotherapy, nursing or speech therapy, and records progress and vital signs in detail each time.

  5. 5

    Quarterly assessment

A full rehabilitation assessment every three months produces a detailed quarterly report that compares changes in strength, balance, daily activity ability and other measures.

  6. 6

    Update the goals

Rehabilitation goals and the training plan are adjusted according to the assessment, to keep progress going and fit the needs of each stage of recovery.
